Reflections : lotus pond in a moment of silence

Painting

01 Jan 2006

Photographed By Chua, Ek Kay, 1947-2008

Information About

The Reflections series emerged from the Lotus Pond series. While the latter presents the composites of plant life from the pond’s surface, the concept of the Reflections series delves more holistically on surface and submerged phenomena, thus conceptually strengthening the symbolic references to the macro-cosmic order of Taoist philosophy. Physical dimensions of original: 900 x 960 mm.
