This is a 1968 photograph of the Victoria Theatre (formerly known as Town Hall) and Victoria Memorial Hall (renamed as Victoria Concert Hall in 1980). The distinctive clock tower is in the centre, providing a link between the theatre and concert hall. The bronze statue of Sir Stamford Raffles can also be seen in the picture. The Victoria Theatre and Victoria Concert Hall was gazetted as a national monument on 14 February 1992. Photograph donated by Poon Lee Eng and displayed at the Heritage Roadshow 2008. HRS3_516.
