Information About
This photograph shows the Victoria Theatre, which was built in 1862 as the Town Hall. The Victoria Memorial Hall was completed in 1905 in memory of Queen Victoria. The clock tower was erected in 1906 to create an illusion that both buildings are joined together. The bronze statue of Sir Stamford Raffles stands outside the buildings.
