Information About
This 1982 photograph shows the stretch of New Bridge Road (from opposite Upper Circular Road towards North Canal Road). A street view of the road is depicted and to the left of the photograph, is a three storey shophouse structure. The front façade of the building has the year 1929 engraved on it. The ground floor is used for business and the upper floors are used for living. The building features columns at the front of the shophouses which form the five-footway and support the upper floors. Pedestrians can be seen crossing the streets and in the distance, cars can also be seen can be seen in the background. Title devised by Library staff.
