This 1982 photograph depicts a street view of New Bridge Road and the row of two-storey shophouses, 2 - 34 New Bridge Road, located opposite to the corner of Upper Circular Road. The shophouses have tiled roofs with supporting columns at the front of the shophouses which form the five-footway and support the upper floors. There is a traffic light on the left in front of the building and a lorry is parked in front of one of the shophouses. A low-rise building can be seen in the background.
