Abstract
In this instalment of Conversation Starters, organised by SIM University, School of Arts and Social Sciences and the National Library Board, Salma Khalik, Senior Health Correspondent from the Straits Times and members of the discussion panel, took on the topic of food safety in Singapore. The panellists, who are experts and practitioners in the industry tackled questions such as: has there been a spike in local food scandals; what are the causes and sources of contamination; what are some of the measures to ensure food safety and hygiene in Singapore.
