This photograph shows an aerial view of Clifford Pier, with bumboats and ships anchored around the Marina Bay area. At night, the carpark outside the entrance of the Pier served as a hawker centre and was popular with musicians and night birds who stayed up late. The carpark was eventually demolished to make way for further developments in the area in 1970. Date of creation estimated. Title devised by Library staff.
