This is a 1950s photograph of Clifford Pier located at Collyer Quay. Clifford Pier has ceased operations, to be replaced by a two-storey pier at Marina South in order to market Marina Bay as a residential and commercial centre. This photograph was taken from Fullerton Building and many steamships are around the pier. Part of a compiled album, with the label : "PHOTOGRAPHS BY : R.K. TYERS. Staff STRAITS STEAMSHIP CO., LTD. SINGAPORE." Date of creation estimated. Title devised by Library staff.
