This is a photograph of a lady standing next to the small Merlion at the Merlion Park near Clifford Pier. Situated at the mouth of the Singapore River as a tourism symbol, the Merlion cub is 2 m tall and weighs three tonnes. The bigger Merlion weighs 70 tonnes and is 8.6m high.
