Siong Lim Temple (also known as Shuang Lin Monastery), is a Buddhist temple located at 184E Jalan Toa Payoh. Completed in 1912, it is a gazetted national monument, based on its architectural, social and historical significance. Photograph shows people at the temple's spacious forecourt and the intricate carvings and dragons on the timber roof structures in the background. Donated by Ang Tiong Cheng, and displayed at the Heritage Roadshow 2008. HRS3_031. Date of creation estimated. Title devised by Library staff.
