This is a photograph depicting two boys posing at the Esplanade. In the background is the Lim Bo Seng Memorial. The monument was built in remembrance of the war hero of Singapore who led the anti-Japanese resistance movement during World War II until he was captured and tortured to death. Donated by Ang Tiong Cheng, and displayed at the Heritage Roadshow 2008. HRS3_024. Date of creation estimated. Title devised by Library staff.
