Shown in the picture are people in bumboats navigating through the choppy waters surrounding an island near Singapore. Others are seen disembarking upon reaching the island. Bumboats which are synonymous with the growth and development of Singapore, also served passengers who commuted between Singapore's offshore islands and the mainland.
