About the Programme

The workshop is an introduction on what well-being encompasses from the perspective of the field of positive psychology. The workshop aims to help participants to better understand and care for their well-being from a broader and more holistic perspective, that’s not just about feeling good or pursuing happiness.  The workshop will cover the following areas:

  • Explore the concept of wellbeing
  • Introduce and overview the PERMAH framework: Positive Emotions, Engagement, Relationships, Meaning, Accomplishment, and Health
  • Explain that we are part of a “Wellbeing Ecosystem” that includes Individual, Team, and Organization/Community wellbeing
  • Emphasize the importance of tiny habits in sustainably caring for our wellbeing

 

About the speaker

Khoo Yin is a certified emotional intelligence coach and trainer. She holds a Masters in Applied Psychology and is a mindfulness and meditation practitioner. She is passionate about enhancing the wellbeing of individuals and teams through emotional intelligence, mindfulness and various applications of positive psychology. As a coach and trainer, she believes in the human potential of every individual and is committed to supporting the growth and learning journeys of aspiring leaders, experienced managers and new-to-workforce individuals towards a flourishing and fulfilling life.
