About the Author
Well-known in the field of early childhood education in Singapore, Linda lived and taught in London before marrying a Singaporean and moving to Southeast Asia 40 years ago. She was an Assistant Professor at the National Institute of Education for 31 years, training pre- and primary school teachers and has written numerous language arts curricula for the Ministry of Education. She loves writing for young children and has published a wide variety of vocabulary enrichment and story books over the past 38 years, the most recent being Rhyming Round S.E. Asia - Festivals and Customs (2019) and the new edition of Rhyming Round Singapore (2020), co-written with Kathleen Chia.
Linda is an active volunteer with the Singapore Wildcat Action Group, having authored Little Tiger, and Little Tiger in Myanmar, and Little Tiger and the Snow Leopards! An experienced story-teller, Linda keeps kids inspired by her stories.
