No green fingers? No problem! This fun and creative workshop lets you craft stunningly realistic houseplants from paper—no watering required! Inspired by Corrie Beth Hogg’s book Handmade Houseplants, participants will learn how to cut, shape, and assemble lifelike paper plants to brighten up any space.
Paper Plant Basics – Explore different types of plants and how to replicate their textures & forms.
Hands-On Crafting – Learn cutting, curling, and shaping techniques for realistic leaves.
Customize Your Creation – Add details like veins, shading, and color variations.
Build & Display – Arrange your plants in paper pots, frames, or hanging decor.
Sustainable & Long-Lasting – Create eco-friendly, maintenance-free plants to enjoy forever!
The Creative Lab workshops are led by passionate NAFA Art Teaching students who bring creativity, hands-on learning and a love for art education. While the sessions are catered for ages 16 and above, all ages are welcome to participate in the workshops.
