Itching to sew and create, but not sure how? Learn the ropes of using a sewing machine from our qualified instructors and get certified while you’re at it (that’s right, you’ll receive a free certificate!) Put your newly learnt skills to practice as you start work on creating your very own patchwork fabric out of secondhand fabric! Feel free to bring along any scrap cloth or old clothes that you would like to use.
This session is suitable for beginners (15 years old and up), and certifies you to book and use MakeIT’s sewing machines and join future Sew & Steady community meetups!

When attending the programme/event, please prepare the following information for registration: Your Full Name, a valid email address, your myLibrary ID, and a valid Contact Number. We will scan your myLibrary ID QR on the NLB Mobile App, which can be found here: https://mobileapp.nlb.gov.sg/
If you do not arrive within 15 minutes of the programme's start time, your seat will be made available to others.
