Join us for an inspiring talk on the opportunities and challenges for women in our digital economy at the launch of The Female Digital Revolution. This groundbreaking book shines a spotlight on everyday women as well as industry leaders, policymakers, academics and entrepreneurs using technology to transform our economies, societies and communities for good.

Authored by Nimisha Tailor, the book combines real-world insights on why gender representation matters in today’s digital world and how you can be part of it. Whatever your background, come learn how women and men can innovate, invest and upskill using digital technologies as an empowerment tool for better careers and lives.

The programme will feature:

About the Speaker

Nimisha Tailor is a competition and regulation specialist with international experience. She has advised large tech companies, central banks, think tanks and international organizations in the areas of digital finance, digital trade, data governance, e-commerce, and logistics. She has worked on consulting projects in Asia Pacific, the US, and Latin America and brings a gender lens to digital policies and regulations. Previously, she was deputy director at the Competition and Consumer Commission of Singapore and has worked at competition authorities in the UK, New Zealand, and Australia.

Nimisha is passionate about developing the next generation of leaders and mentors, young female professionals and university students, globally and regionally. As a mentor for the NexGen Keynote Women Speakers programme, she has supported talented women to make impactful speeches on stage by drawing on her public and private sector work experience.

Nimisha served in the UK Government Economic Service and has a MSc degree in Economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science.

Saloni, co-director of Women Devs SG, is an experienced software developer who is passionate about encouraging more women to remain and grow in technical fields. Saloni strongly believes in “teaching is the best way to learn”, so you will very often see her give a talk on various topics - Clean code, latest technologies eg. graphQL, being software interview-ready. Saloni has her own Tech Podcast (with 2 other techies) called RagTech where they try to demystify the real side of tech with bytes and banter!

Faye Percival 
Senior marketing and engagement manager

Faye Percival is a seasoned marketing professional dedicated to connecting and advancing the cybersecurity community across Asia, Australasia, and the Middle East. With extensive experience in developing and executing strategic programs for cutting-edge technology, she plays a pivotal role in fostering collaboration and growth within the cybersecurity sector. 

At CREST, Faye has been instrumental in organizing events such as CRESTCon Australia 2024, providing platforms for professionals to share knowledge and drive innovation. Her commitment to professional development is evident through her efforts to promote certification opportunities, empowering individuals to demonstrate their skills and advance their careers.

Christopher von Mitschke-Collande
Director, Digital Solution Sales Giesecke+Devrient

Christopher leads Giesecke+Devrient digital solutions sales in Southeast Asia, specialising in payment and security solutions. With over 30 years of experience in sales and business development, Christopher has built a strong track record in the enterprise software and services sectors, spanning multiple industries and geographies. 

After studying Business Administration in Germany, Christopher began his career as an Account Manager at an IT systems integrator. In the late 1990s, he joined a US-based start-up, which until recently was a NASDAQ-listed company, and was appointed Director of Business Development for Asia. He later worked with a boutique consultancy firm focused on helping foreign enterprise software companies enter the Asian market. Christopher is an active mentor and supports professionals in their career development in the payment industry.

  • Arrive 10 mins before the session commences. Seats of late attendees may be given to those in the waitlist. Walk-ins are subject to availability.
