2005年应扬琴演奏家瞿建青之邀而作。并于2006年在中国北京国际扬琴大会上作世界首演。乐曲以马来民歌《舢舨向前划》（或《小船向前划》）旋律动机为基础，并以自由旋律式展开。乐曲亦以多调性五声音阶和声为主来铺陈设色，曲风活泼轻盈而富有色彩变化。加上非常规节奏音型。
