"Sketches" consists of three continuous sections in which the total characteristics of the oboe and the piano are displayed in interplays at various situations. The work was completed after the composer had a most enriching experience in visiting New Zealand's countryside in the full of 1984 and was composed at the invitation of Joos Flach and Shane Thio who gave the first performance in 1985.. This is an instrumental track.
