Abstract
The chieftain of Semerah Padi accepts the marriage proposal of Taruna, for his daughter, Dara. Little does he know that Dara is infact in love with Aduka, Taruna's friend. When Taruna is sent away to save the village from pirates, Aduka rescues Dara from a villain. It was an emotional reunion for the two, resulting in them committing adultery, which according to Islamic law, is a crime punishable with death by impalement.
