Abstract
A nostalgia for a simpler, more pastoral life permeates this short documentary. It shows an idyll not known to many in busy Singapore; an island within an island. We see children playing in vast green fields, wide blues skies and neighbours chatting and laughing. Interviews with the tenants of this locale reveal deep attachments to 'Singapore's Secret Garden'. It is revealed that there are plans to concrete over this green area, and disappointed tenants express their thoughts.
