Abstract
In this video interview, Lim discusses his early childhood and Peranakan heritage; teaching career; leadership of the Singapore Youth Choir and hopes for its future; the SSO connection and how to cultivate an audience, as well as the future of music in Singapore. For his distinguished contributions to the nation, Lim was conferred the Cultural Medallion in Music in 1979. The interviews were recorded on 21 Feb, 16 Mar and 6 Apr 2009.
