Abstract
The Bourne identity: Bourne, is pulled from the sea suffering from amnesia with a pair of bullet wounds in his back. His only clue to his own identity is a bank account number etched on a capsule implanted in his body. He finds the Zurich bank where money, a gun, and several passports with different names await. He quickly realizes he can trust no one and offers a German gypsy named Maria ten thousand dollars for a ride to Paris. With Maria's reluctant help, Bourne edges closer to the truth, something CIA officials want concealed at all costs. , The Bourne supremacy: Bourne has abandoned his life as a CIA assassin and has been traveling beneath the agency's radar. He has been able to reconnect with Marie, the woman he loves. But Bourne is still haunted by vivid dreams and troubling memories of his days as a killer, and he's not really certain how much really happened and how much is a product of his imagination. When Bourne is led out of hiding by circumstances beyond his control, he must reconcile his past and present as he struggles to keep Marie out of harm's way and foil an international incident with dangerous consequences. , The Bourne ultimatum: Bourne is once again brought out of hiding. This time, inadvertently by London-based reporter Simon Ross. Simon is trying to unveil Operation BlackBriar which is an upgrade to Project Treadstone, by writing about it in a series of newspaper columns. Bourne sets up a meeting with Ross and realizes instantly they're being scanned. Information from the reporter stirs a new set of memories, and Bourne must finally, ultimately, uncover his dark past whilst dodging The Company's best efforts in trying to eradicate him. , Bonus disc: Documentaries about Robert Ludlum, author of the Jason Bourne novels upon which the trilogy feature films was based, including archival interviews with friends, family, and the author; information about the origins of the Jason Bourne character; and discussion of the impact of the successful series.
