Information About

This 1993 photograph shows Circular Road. Rows of shophouses line both sides of the street. Several parked vehicles including vans and cars, can be seen on either side of the road. The Expressionist style shophouse designed by Ho Kwong Yew, one of Singapore's well-known architects, can be seen at the intersection between Circular Road and Lorong Telok. Circular Road is so-named because it follows the curve of the Singapore River. Title devised by Library staff.
