Information About

This photograph shows Read Bridge spanning across the Singapore River, against the backdrop of skyscrapers in the Central Business District. A reflection of these skyscrapers and the surrounding buildings is formed on the clear waters of the Singapore River. Some of these skyscrapers include the OCBC Centre, OUB Centre and UOB Plaza. On the left stands an old warehouse which was used in the past as a storage facility for goods and cargo carried up along the River by bumboats. Title devised by Library staff.
