This 1890s photograph shows three men posing next to a hut. Two men are dressed in traditional ethnic attire, while the other is dressed in Western style attire. Behind the hut is the generator shed of the Eastern Extension & Australia Telegraph Company relay station at Banjoewangi, East Java (now Banyuwangi).
