Information About

This photograph shows a Chinese pawn shop, Thai Thong Pawnshop. The Chinese characters of the shop's name embossed on a plaque is in traditional script. The simplified Chinese script for the name is 泰通当. A sign in Tamil can also be seen at the shop's window in front of its vertical bars. A partial view of the shop's interior shows the security bars and glass display case, typical of a pawnshop. Title devised by Library staff.
