Information About
This is a close up view of the wall decoration at the top of the house of Tan Yeok Nee. Aligned to feng shui principles, it is of Southern Fujian style with curved eaves and roof brackets that is decorated with spectacularly carved mythical beasts. In the centre is an opening, framed within a square, with floral patterns around it. Title devised by Library staff.
