This is a wedding picture of matchmade couple, Madam Tan Ai Choo and Mr Pay Kim Tah, taken at a studio in Arab Street. The bride was twenty-two and her groom, a wealthy businessman in the hardware trade and a widower, was thirty-four. Photograph donated by Dorothy Seah Lee Khim and displayed at the Heritage Roadshow 2008. HRS3_239. Title devised by Library staff.
