This is a view of Red Swastika School across the school field at Bedok North Avenue 3. The Chinese-medium school was established as "Wan Tzu School" in a wooden building at 80, Somapah Road by World Red Swastika Society, Singapore. The foundation stone was laid on 13 January 1951. The school was renamed "Red Swastika School" (卍慈学校) in 1956, and later relocated to Bedok North Avenue 3 in 1981, to make way for the development of Changi area. The foundation stone of the new school building was laid on 28 November 1979. It was declared open on 11 July 1981. Past principals are Mr. Chuang Shih Ie (1951-1981); Mr. Wong Sin Eng (Jan 1982-1994); Mr. Chia Tai Ching (Dec 1994-Dec 2001); Mr. Ong Kian Hin (Dec 2001-Dec 2007); Mr. Chua Ying Hwee (2008-2010); and Mrs. Jenny Leong-Tan Ling Ling (陈玲玲, Dec 2010-to date).
