This 1950 photograph shows the old OCBC head office at Chulia Street, also known as the China Building. Built in traditional Chinese architectural style, the China Building features a distinctive roof. Two-storey shophouses on both sides of the building can be partially seen. Date and other characters are hand-written at the bottom of the picture. Photograph donated by Tan Hui Hua and displayed at Heritage Roadshow 2007. Title devised by Library staff. Date of creation estimated.
