This 1982 photograph shows the exterior of 2 two-storey shophouses on Veerasamy Road, near Kampong Kapor Road. The façade of the two shophouses on the upper level are similarly decorated with pilasters, cornices and plaster ornamentation on the upper level. However, the roof and façade of the two shophouses on the lower level vary, with metal grilles for the shophouse on the left and bat-shaped vents on the shophouse on the right.
