The area has a large concentration of Chinese traditional businesses, from medicinal halls to delicacies and tailoring shops. The old shophouses in the foreground stand in contrast to the skyscraper in the background. Donated by Mary Lim, and displayed at the Heritage Roadshow 2008. HRS3_043. Date of creation estimated.
