Information About
This 1992 photograph shows Middle Road which is lined with shophouses towards Dhoby Ghaut, as taken from Prinsep Street. Middle Road was previously known as "sio ang moh pah thi" (European Foundry of Small Singapore) in Hokkien because there used to be a foundry on the road. Title devised by Library staff.
