This is a 1991 photograph of house no. 84 at Kampong Amber. The kampong house has a zinc roof, and sits under the shade of several trees. Kampong Amber, a Malay fishing village or kampong, used to exist in the area between East Coast Road and Amber Road. Kampong Amber can no longer be found in the present day street directory.
