This is a 1950s photograph of the view of the buildings surrounding the Esplanade (now the Padang) taken from on top of the Fullerton building. From the left is the Victoria Memorial Hall (now Victoria Concert Hall) where the Dalhousie Obelisk is in front of it. Next to it is the Singapore Cricket Club with the Old Supreme Court and Municipal Building (City Hall) behind it.
