This photograph shows a close-up view of a cup of black coffee and some round Chinese snacks, placed on top of Chinese newspapers. The porcelain coffee cup and saucer with a green floral design depicted in this picture is similar to the cups used in local kopitiams. One of the Chinese snacks placed on the enamel plate has sesame seeds sprinkled on top. Enamel plates are widely used in Singapore in the 1960s or 1970s. Title devised by Library staff.
