This is a view of the "tempinis" tree (a Malay term for the Riau ironwood tree or streblus elongataor) from its trunk to the crown. The evergreen tropical tree can reach the height of more than 12 metres and they were found in large numbers in old Tampines. Title devised by Library staff.
