This is a half-length portrait of Neila Sathyalingam (b. 1938, Colombo, Sri Lanka - ), dancer, instructor and choreographer of Indian classical dance. She is an eminent figure in the Indian classical dance arena in Singapore. She was awarded the prestigious Cultural Medallion (Dance) in 1989. Title devised by Library staff.
