This is a photograph of a scale model of the proposed Yuhua Community Centre (later known as "Yuhua Community Club") at 90, Boon Lay Way. Messrs. Ch'ng & Associates Architects was appointed to handle the project. The construction of the community centre was awarded to Messrs. Tai Win Construction Private Limited in 1987. The building was completed in 1989 and it was officially declared open by Mr. Ong Teng Cheong, Second Deputy Prime Minister. Title devised by Library staff.
