This is an aerial view of RAF Tengah (later "Tengah Air Base") showing the area adjacent to the main entrance (extreme left) along Choa Chu Kang Road. The road running through the centre is Halifax Road. Running parallel on the right is Lancaster Road. At the end of Lancaster Road is the three-storey Learoyd Barrack Block with the temporary Air Tower Control facing a section of the new runway. At the end of Halifax Road are Gibson and Cheshire Barrack Blocks (nearest to the water tower). Title devised by Library staff.
