Information About
This photograph shows the Kallang Airport. Three airplanes are parked on the tarmac and there is a motor car and a man riding on a bicycle on the runaway. Kallang Airport is Singapore's first civil airport. It was was completed at a cost of S$8 million and opened on 12 June 1937. Donated by Chee Yoke Leung, and displayed at the Heritage Roadshow 2008.
