This is a photograph of a man posing proudly next to his car, a Ford Anglia. The number on the car licence plate reads S9118. The Ford Anglia was a British car from Ford in the UK. The name was applied to four models of car between 1939 and 1967. In Singapore, a used 3-year Ford Anglia in 1966 was reported to have cost only about $2,500.
