Photograph shows a close up view of a row of terrace houses at the junction of Pennefather Road and Joo Chiat Road. The houses feature the Malaccan-style Peranakan architecture with decorations and glazed tiles. The front of the houses have swinging doors. The road where the houses are, begins at the junction of Pennefather Road and Joo Chiat Road and ends at the junction of Lorong J and Still Road. It was named in 1934 after a Chinese businessman, Mr. Cheong Koon Seng. Title devised by Library staff.
