This is a photograph which shows two actresses who are dressed as samsui women in the drama serial titled "Samsui Women" (红头巾). From their surroundings, it is evident that they are at a construction site and they are carrying baskets of construction materials. Although one of them is wearing a blue headgear (a mark of mourning or distinguishing them as coming from the Sun Yap area in China), samsui women are usually dressed in their characteristic samsui red headgear and blue samfoo (sometimes spelt samfu), a tunic-and-trouser suit.
