This photograph shows a coffeeshop at the ground floor of a corner building at Tanjong Pagar Road. Besides coffee stalls and mini-restaurants, other retail activities on such ground floor units include tailor shops and Chinese medical halls. A number of the walkway pillars feature Chinese word characters that advertise the business that the shops deal with.
