This is the façade of the four-storey Teochew Building at 97 Tank Road, home to Singapore Teochew Poit Ip Huay Kuan (新嘉坡潮州八邑會館). It was built on the former site of the Tuan Mong High School in 1963. Teochew Building temporarily housed the Ngee Ann College (later Ngee Ann Technical College) between 1963 and 1968, and Tuan Mong High School (端蒙中学) between 1963 and 1994. Later, the building housed the Ngee Ann Cultural Centre, Ngee Ann Kongsi Heritage Hall and Ngee Ann-Adelaide Education Centre. Title devised by Library staff.
