This photograph shows a close-up view of a statue of Lord Karuppasamy at Sri Veeramakaliamman temple during a festival in October 1993. The temple is located at Serangoon Road. The statue is on a raised altar, and at the foot of the altar is a full bundle of bananas. A plate of bananas is also placed on the right of the statue as an offering, while on its left is an oil lamp that is hung from the ceiling. Title devised by Library staff.
