This is a 1971 photograph of two ladies and a child enjoying the teacups ride at Wonderland Amusement Park in Kallang. The child is seen wearing a mask over his eyes and a party hat. The cup-and-saucer carousel was popular at Wonderland, as thrill-seekers would sit in spinning giant cups which made some people dizzy. The madly rotating teacups were also a good form of advertisement. Ovaltine was one that advertised its cocoa-flavoured beverage on them.
