This is a 1950s photograph showing a man, with a snake wrapped around his arm, and an older lady who has a less than amused expression at the Snake Temple. The temple was built around 1850 and in memory of Chor Soo Kong, Buddhist monk, who provided shelter for snakes when he lived in the jungle.
